Pros
Employee discount. Very enthuastic colleagues.
Cons
Where should I start? - The pay is VERY low and "non negotiable" (according to them – it's not true). You will be asked (or tasks will be left undone until you do it yourself) to do way more than what you're supposed to and won't be compensated for it. -Management at Deciem will sugar coat every thing with kindness, especially when you speak of low pay as if smiles pay your bills, and never will get back to you about it. -Business development is done very weirdly, they are slowly starting to fall off of the wave they created in skincare because they can't stick to schedules for products nor appeal properly to their audience (I don't think they know who their actual audience is) on social media. The social media update (from @deciem to @theordinary) should have been done YEARS ago. Social Media campains don't make sense at all and the engagement is very low too. -People under 35 will be appointed "Senior Manager" or "Senior Director" for absolutely no reason (this works especially for people who've been appointed because they are friends with upper management). Targets aren't reached and people are overloaded with work but you will see someone having those Senior promotions every few months (and you should be clapping for them always – in Deciem style!). -They will make you believe that Deciem is all about career growth, they will tell you to focus on development, say they have those tools to boost your career but no proper follow up is done. You will not get that promotion! -At DECIEM, you will also see a lot of those videocalls that only Upper management has time to attend, you will be bombarded with emails, inviting you to see *random Member of Upper Management* speak about their careers. It's just a bunch of people hearing each other speak meanwhile this time could be used for helping your overworked teams. It lowkey sounds like a cult sometimes... -Bonuses are inexistant but targets are still there
