      Pros

      Amazing opportunities to connect with and serve some of the most vulnerable populations in Seattle. Many advancement opportunities in different programs

      Cons

      Management fails to support supervisors, frontline staff, and ultimately clients. Work is rewarding, but unsustainable. DESC invests next to nothing in their teams and writes-off high turnover as unavoidable rather than address systemic issues that employees call out. Clients are placed in unsafe conditions.

      Pay and benefits are great, a lot of pto.

      Cons

      Not a great company for POC in leadership roles. You will also receive very little support from higher ups, and must manage heavy emotionally taxing days with KPIS.
