Pros

-Easy interview -It's a job

Cons

Micromanagement and excessive meetings, inefficient processes. Outdated tech stack and poor legacy code. The worst HR experience in 8 years – rude, unprofessional, and engaged in GDPR violations and local labor law breaches. Management – constant overstepping of personal and legal boundaries, frequent after-hours disturbances. Overall ok though, could be worse. Asked to work for free – both myself and several newcomers were pressured to start working before the official contract start date. Legal threats from people operations – refusal to share an excessive amount of personal data or to sign unfavorable documents led to intimidation. I sensed racism from European employees toward Indian colleagues. Low salaries – below industry standards. High turnover, no technical leadership.

Pros

I have a lot of good things to say about DHL. The company really cares about their talent. Benefits are good. The pay is good.

Cons

Only bad thing is the micromanaging of some supervisors.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your experience at our Orlando site. We’re glad to read that you valued the salary, the 4x10 shift structure, and especially the relationships with your peers. At the same time, we regret the challenges you described related to senior management behavior, HR involvement, and consistency in people practices. A respectful, professional work environment where policies are applied fairly and leaders act with accountability is fundamental to our culture, and it’s clear there are areas where continued improvement is needed. To clarify, participation in company supported charitable or donation initiatives is strictly voluntary. Employees are not expected or required to contribute, and any perception of pressure is not aligned with our policies or expectations. If these initiatives were experienced differently, we would take that feedback seriously and see it as an opportunity to reflect on how our communications and practices are perceived. While we are sorry to learn that the overall culture did not meet your expectations, we appreciate you clearly outlining your concerns. Feedback like this plays an important role in ongoing reflection and improvement. Thank you for the contributions you made during your time with DHL. We wish you all the best moving forward. Best regards, Your DHL Team
