Pros

Flexible schedule and great benefits. Lots of gray management!!! If you want to get by on just working for a paycheck then this is the place.

Cons

There is no hands on training at all!!!!! No support from management!!! They talk about unreal metrics such as OSAT(customer survey) which can't be met because unless a customer marks the survey as highly satisfied it doesn't do you any good. The other metric would be credit cards.... Well with an interest rate of 28%, who in their right mind would ever sign up for that!!!! Also, full time is not full time... You will only get 30-37 hours a week and NO overtime at all!! If you are close to getting overtime, they'll cut your hours. Customers come in looking for items that were in a area in the store last week but this week they are in a totally different area of the store. Customers DO NOT appreciate that at all in this fast pace world we live in now!!!!

Pros

It's fun to interact with athletes and help them achieve their goals.

Cons

As with any part-time job in this economy today, hourly pay for part-timers is so much lower that the cost of living. Just to cover my internet access each month (which is now considered an essential living cost), it takes 6 hours of work. For the minimal increase in hourly pay if I took a full-time job at DSG, I wouldn't be able to cover even 70% of my living expenses (housing, food, transport, internet, phone). It's a sobering thought as we navigate this country's massive wealth disparity.
