Pros

Great group of coworkers. Good training process, and good products to sell.

Cons

Management is condescending, and treats everyone like children. Management more concerned with recovery than sales, always pushing to start recovery early and upset when you are tied up with customers. Though I was in a specialized job, I was assigned to freight crew at 61 years old because store is understaffed. When we were assigned to freight, golf was left without staffing from opening to 6:00 PM two or three days a week. Store maintenance neglected. We had no ceiling lights in our simulator room for the entire time I worked there, leaving us to select clubs/shafts for fittings using our cell phones for light. Most of the time the simulators were non-functional as well. Our impression was that they really don't care much about golf as it's not the big selling department.

Cons

- Performance expectations were often unclear or inconsistently communicated, Feedback was reactive instead of timely and actionable. - Leadership quality varied dramatically by manager, with limited coaching or mentorship. - Constant shifting priorities without adjusting expectations or workload. - Psychological safety was lacking, Honest communication feel risky. - Leadership messaging around culture didn't match day-to-day reality. - Process was often valued more than impact or results. - Compensation well below market, w/little flexibility during negotiations. - I felt excluded from key conversations and opportunities that were important to my success.
