Pros
schedule is consistent for the most part, sometimes you might be forced to work unscheduled overtime good health, dental and vision plans lots of cross training opportunities on the job training good attitude about work mostly good coworkers
Cons
managers lie; specifically about why you weren't promoted supervisors contribute hardly anything while are paid significantly more promotions are mostly political( if management doesn't like you, they won't promote you) ;experience, willingness, and competency are less important to management sometimes you're asked to produce too much for how much you're compensated HR is consistently useless and sometimes determinantal to employees( they lose your checks, mislog your hours, try to claim your injury is non work related)
