Pros

The gym (you have to pay for) is nice & the walking trails in summer.. if you have time to use it. Benefits are good. Coworkers are friendly, they just don't stay for very long unless they are Pitt natives.

Cons

For it being a small town, the only 1 highway into corporate from Pittsburgh is jam packed with traffic. It can take over an hr to get here/home. If there is an accident or landslide or a drop of rain.. forget about making good time. Upper management is very disrespectful & you can hear them walking around cursing at/about people. They describe the ppl as those that There is no empowerment & every decision needs to be made at director or higher level. A lot of things go to Ed Stack to approve. Job titles are not aligned with the industry. You will be working at a higher level. Work/life balance does not exist. You have to really put your foot down to leave at a decent hr and then are treated badly for doing so. Very few corp holidays off. We work xmas eve as an example.

Pros

Employee Discount Opportunity to provide customers an experience in which they can be confident in buying a new shoe for style, function and support-related reasons. Great selling tools, devices and display fixtures to work with

Cons

This is not really a con since I believe it is an important part of the job. Newer and current workers may need to keep up up to date and do research on products in order to be able to help customers effectively and efficiently.
