Pros

-Pay is negotiable and they have yearly reviews of their employees, which often leads to a raise -They are willing to hire people without much experience in the work force -There is a lot of opportunity for advancement in their high volume stores, such as the San Diego location -Management is mostly good at this store, but new management comes in about every year as people get promoted -Store is clean and always looks nice -You get to wear athletic apparel to work -The people that work here are all hard workers and fun to work with, not much high school drama to deal with

Cons

-The work is not easy -The store is almost always short staffed and there is always something that needs to be changed or fixed -It's hard to give everyone immediate customer service due to having so much to do and so little staff -The corporate guys are always coming in and checking out their stores. There is a lot of pressure put on all of us (managers included)

Pros

Corporate is 10/10. At a large company, every department is different but they value their customers and employees and offer great benefits. Rewarding to work there

Cons

Not much to say. Best employer I’ve had

Pros

- Unlimited PTO with 401k match is awesome

Cons

- Performance expectations were often unclear or inconsistently communicated, Feedback was reactive instead of timely and actionable. - Leadership quality varied dramatically by manager, with limited coaching or mentorship. - Constant shifting priorities without adjusting expectations or workload. - Psychological safety was lacking, Honest communication feel risky. - Leadership messaging around culture didn't match day-to-day reality. - Process was often valued more than impact or results. - Compensation well below market, w/little flexibility during negotiations. - I felt excluded from key conversations and opportunities that were important to my success.
