Pros
Flexibility, lots of employees on staff means its easy to get time off
Cons
Lots of employees on staff means its harder to get more hours if you want them. Regional/District managers all want to see stores operating as lean as possible- keep payroll low, sales (somehow) high. So extra pressure is placed on store managers to keep staffing to a minimum.
