Pros

If you're a half decent employee, you're more likely to get better hours and easier to get time off. The discount is fairly reasonable compared to other places, however they could probably do a little better because their margins are very high.

Cons

Hours have been greatly cut, the big wigs don't realize that not everyone wants a scorecard, no matter how hard you try. Employee recognition is horrible.. I mean people that win employee of the month don't even know they won! And they don't get anything, just a piece of paper saying they won. It also seems as though you could do everything right and do better than expected, but the upper managers will just ask for more, more, more.

Pros

Employee Discount Opportunity to provide customers an experience in which they can be confident in buying a new shoe for style, function and support-related reasons. Great selling tools, devices and display fixtures to work with

Cons

This is not really a con since I believe it is an important part of the job. Newer and current workers may need to keep up up to date and do research on products in order to be able to help customers effectively and efficiently.
