Pros

The associates were mainly good people and fun to work with and the hours were decent for full time

Cons

Management is a joke. There is little to no follow through when promises are made and there is absolutely no accountability whatsoever in the store. Every associate is held to a different standard and associates that perform poorly but have a good relationship with management get away with their bad behavior, whereas top performing associates are taken advantage of constantly to pick up slack instead of enforcing rules and targeting and eliminating negative behaviors in associates.

It's fun to interact with athletes and help them achieve their goals.

Cons

As with any part-time job in this economy today, hourly pay for part-timers is so much lower that the cost of living. Just to cover my internet access each month (which is now considered an essential living cost), it takes 6 hours of work. For the minimal increase in hourly pay if I took a full-time job at DSG, I wouldn't be able to cover even 70% of my living expenses (housing, food, transport, internet, phone). It's a sobering thought as we navigate this country's massive wealth disparity.
