Cons
-Since being bought out by a larger investment company, everything has changed with the culture. Only thing that matters now is money. Constantly being asked for more at the cost of our customers and our reputation and ability to provide due to shortages and supply chain issues. The desire to push push push sales even when we don't have product to deliver puts the employees in a bad situation as we are left to clean up the fallout with customers. -The opportunities to advance in the company are reserved for those who "play the game" of office politics. This is very transparent and the company doesn't even try to hide it. -Benefits are poor and costly. Company is "self insured" which allows them to keep costs low for them by passing the financial burden to the employee. Family plan deductible is 7500 and monthly costs from pay is $250 or more. -Pay is well below market average from my research. Company has no plan to rectify this with a proper cost of living increase even though the CFO just put out a company wide email discussing how we are blowing our yearly forecast out of the water and we are breaking financial forecast records every month. Completely Tone Deaf as the day to day employee struggles with the economic downturn and some people have concerns about affording gas for their cars to come to work. We are being used as a financial buoy to help float the failing other companies within the larger investment company's portfolio. When you ask for a raise, you are told "it isn't in the budget" even though they just bragged how we are making money hand over fist. If you go to them and say "i have another job offer but i'd like to stay. I need you to meet me somewhere on salary, they tell you "good luck at the new company" as you are replaceable and thats felt daily. They would rather hire someone new off the street than promote internal growth if it means it would cost more money. Long story short is since the investment company took over, DRB is only about money and doesn't care as much about the employee. The culture has been completely striped. Everything is about the bottom dollar. Everyone is replaceable as seen by the mass exodus of executives and other mid level employees since the beginning of the year.
