Pros

The company has done a good job of recruiting nice people. Good work/life balance.

Cons

Company seems to change their vision/approach every couple years; the true direction of the company hasn't been clear. Each time a new president comes on board, they come with their vision and way to lead the company. But they don't seem to stay for more than 18 months and they along with their new way of leading the company goes away. There does seem to be some favoritism with promotions. Although the "criteria" is there, it doesn't seem as though it applies to each person fairly. It really depends on who is advocating for you and their influence. The company has become top heavy. There are more VPs and Managing Directors, but it hasn't seemed to change or improve how the company operates. Although it is stated that the company has compensation rates similar to the rest of the industry, that simply is not true. There are also no annual bonuses. The company has grown over the past couple years and it seems that it has lost the special culture and unique personality that was much more evident when the company was smaller.

Pros

I enjoy building solutions that are both practical and useful. The projects are interesting and keep me focused. Another big plus is the knowledgeable and supportive team. People share expertise and ideas when there’s a complex issue to tackle. We also have a smooth collaboration with analysts and stakeholders, which makes it easier to work efficiently.

Cons

Flexibility is important here, so be prepared to make quick decisions and adjust your plans as you go.

Pros

Individual project assignments came with clear scope. Management stayed out of the weeds on daily work.

Cons

• Every diversity training session repeated the same message about inclusion, yet nothing in daily operations reflected those promises • The leadership team looked exactly the same as when I was hired despite constant claims about bringing in different perspectives • Candidates from underrepresented backgrounds were hired but received far less mentoring and advancement support than others • Diversity initiatives were heavily advertised during announcement weeks and then completely disappeared once other priorities took over • Leadership positions repeatedly went to people from the same backgrounds despite having qualified candidates from other demographics available
