Pros

The overall compensation— 11 federal holidays; commuting reimbursement; 4 weeks PTO; 401k match

Cons

A recurring theme of these reviews is “cliques”. While I would not personally use that term, I agree with the premise. Examples are-- I was frequently left out of conversations relevant to the work I am responsible for completing; All customer interaction was filtered through a handful of team members; Emails to my team lead frequently went unanswered even after being sent multiple times; I did not have an opportunity to contribute to the success of the project despite repeatedly asking if there is anything I can do to help the team. There is little job security at DRT and in my short tenure I witnessed layoffs while the company simultaneously hired new people. DRT takes a “revolving door” approach to growth, and has difficulty retaining people long term. It is easier to leave the company then to find another project internally.

Thank you for your feedback. The experience you had is definitely opposite to the core values that DRT tries to instill at all levels of the organization. All feedback is important and so is yours. I hope that you were able to share your feedback with your leadership team when you were employed.

Pros

I enjoy building solutions that are both practical and useful. The projects are interesting and keep me focused. Another big plus is the knowledgeable and supportive team. People share expertise and ideas when there’s a complex issue to tackle. We also have a smooth collaboration with analysts and stakeholders, which makes it easier to work efficiently.

Cons

Flexibility is important here, so be prepared to make quick decisions and adjust your plans as you go.

Pros

Individual project assignments came with clear scope. Management stayed out of the weeds on daily work.

Cons

• Every diversity training session repeated the same message about inclusion, yet nothing in daily operations reflected those promises • The leadership team looked exactly the same as when I was hired despite constant claims about bringing in different perspectives • Candidates from underrepresented backgrounds were hired but received far less mentoring and advancement support than others • Diversity initiatives were heavily advertised during announcement weeks and then completely disappeared once other priorities took over • Leadership positions repeatedly went to people from the same backgrounds despite having qualified candidates from other demographics available
