Pros
Most of my coworkers are incredible people that I plan on having life long friendships with.
Cons
Where do I start? Firstly, beware of multiple five star reviews on or around the same timeframe. Leadership follows Glassdoor closely and asks their favorites to write a good review (sometimes multiple times) to beef up the firms score when too much truth comes out. 1. All projects are boring and you won’t be doing much except taking meeting minutes, booking meeting rooms, and coordinating agendas. 2. You won’t work with the brightest minds ...due in part because of the below industry standard pay and boring projects. Very few employees with advanced degrees. 3. Leadership will never have your back - they always side with the customer - even if they do something illegal. Client can say or do almost anything unethical and at the end of the day you’ll be asked, “what could You have done better?” I don’t know Karen - maybe find another job? 4. All goals are focused on firm financial growth. Performance evaluations are a joke and a moving target. I was once told by a VP that a person was pulled from receiving a recommendation because said VP “heard things.” WHAT!!!?!! 5. Zero training dollars - at one point everyone got the same amount each year and then it turned into “well, if we like you we will pay for your PMP.” 6. No technical opportunities - at all. Are you a tester? Project ended? Expect to then be “challenged” as a BA or a PM. Oh, you failed because that’s not your background experience or what you want to do? Here’s your walking papers.
