No real downsides in my opinion but this is probably because I work with a great team and have interesting work. That may not be everyone's experience.

DRW values my input and ideas, and allows me to explore new ways of conducting surveillance. The firm is not afraid to try things that may not work out in the end.
Cons
You have to have the confidence to push forward. People will help and guide you, but you must initiate the activity.
