Pros
DTE has the resources of a very large company. Pay and benefits are competitive with the industry. The individual employees are a microcosm of society, some are excellent, some are bad, most are just good folks.
Cons
The company works salaried employees into the ground. Supervisors routinely earn less than the people they supervise, and a 50 hour work week is considered the base for salaried employees. As the company has the resources of a large company, they also have the mindset of a large company. Nothing happens quickly, and nothing happens at all if there aren't six months of committee meetings to determine if it is necessary.
