Pros
Great office in a great location. You have the opportunity to work with some extremely intelligent individuals. The core values and mission of the company are admirable but just wish they were actually lived out. You do get to work on some cool initiatives and projects. Some teams allow one "work from home" day per week.
Cons
Unorganized and messy structure with a lack of standardized processes that leads to a bit of a "wild west" atmosphere. Siloed teams with no communication practices in place for leadership to be aware of what's going on. Not paid enough to be dealing with that mess. Values and mission that aren't lived out or seen in practice which feels very hypocritical. Told that you'll have a great opportunity to advance but in reality, external candidates ONLY are considered for openings instead of promoting internally within the team. You're most valuable where you are so they don't want to move you. Promotions are few and far between for some teams. Upward mobility feels out of your control and does not reflect your performance. PTO is not good until you've worked there for years. Culture lacks a consistent focus on the real purpose of health care: the patient. CEO is glorified and put his name/picture on too much when we should instead be recognizing those clinicians in the front line running our clinics and caring for patients.
