Pros
The only real reason someone should consider this company is if they are looking at one of the very few work from home options. On the other hand, if you are a drinker looking for free booze, you will probably like this company. Even at daytime events, the booze flows freely with no monitoring of who is drinking how much - and no monitoring of who is driving afterwards.
Cons
The stated company values do not match the reality. Employees are not treated as portrayed in writing or "publicity" materials. An employee must be diligent about checking their paycheck to make sure the correct amounts were deducted. When you leave, you will not receive your PTO payout. AFTER your insurances have terminated, they will still be taken out of your last check even though they should not be. Employees are expected to participate in "volunteer" activities at their own expense and on their own time . . . even if these "volunteer" activities are to do paperwork for another DaVita location. In addition, employees are constantly expected to donate money for this or that organization or event - but it is all done in the name of the company. If you do not participate in these "volunteer" activities, you may eventually be let go for "lack of involvement in the community." The health insurance provided is not very good - and it does not cover many things covered by plans at other companies. Do not expect promotions or sizeable pay increases even though you are an excellent employee with excellent production . . . expect to be given an excuse for the 0% or 1% pay increase. You must be part of management's clique to get a decent pay increase or a promotion. If you find anything wrong with their "systems," you will be terminated.
