In a short time the work becomes extremely repetitive. The projects change but the same problems keep coming back again and again. You top out on engineering challenges fast. The reason job security is good is the travel is chaotic and people are constantly turning over. Management... my manager is detached and doesn't care. His management seems to care about all the wrong things. The management here is weird. They seem to want to do or tell everyone else how to do their job but don't do the little things we need from them. Then they send emails about "urgency" and effectively say we need to pick up more of the slack from the rest of the company. The other reviews are right in that management here is a serious problem and they don't respect us.
