Pros

Good paychecks due to working 6 days/wk, no need to speak English.

Cons

Mostly immigrants from all over the globe. A lot of people speak either broken English or no English which gets frustrating day after day. Very physical work in cold wet noisy environment. Usually work every Saturday and this is mandatory. You do get paid ot but 6 days/wk gets old when it is every week with no option to have it off. You are not allowed to call in sick on Sat if you want to keep your job. I would rather work less and make less and have my life back.

Pros

It's not easy work, but this is a company that tries hard to be be what they say they are. Diversity isn't just something they talk about in training to be PC, so if that's not for you, this isn't the place. Pay is fair and reliable and benefits are good. They take safety and quality really seriously and a lot of people have been here a long time and been promoted.

Cons

It's bacon, raw and cooked - that comes with smells and temperatures. Some areas are hot and some are cold and there's a lot of gear to wear for safety and for quality.

2-2-3 Schedule give built in overtime, pretty laid back environment. People there are friendly and nice.

Cons

Limited growth opportunity. Management is always shifting around.
