Pros
- Good work-life balance - Options to work remotely - Flexible working hours - Training or schooling available
Cons
- After switching to a job with more responsibilities and growth, a raise was not negotiable (work load vs. payment is not balanced at all) - Feeling of hidden agendas among management - All is cost-driven on short term, no strategy lies underneath the business plans. Many, many reorganizations have been undertaken in the last 6 years where the divisions get scrambled and reassembled. Seen many colleagues fired until it was my time too. Be very aware that after just one or two months your previous job reappears as “open” again, with a different title and in a low-cost country. This was the true sign it is all about short-term savings to keep shareholders satisfied. Please hire sufficient legal support when it is “your time to go”.
