      - Exposed to high level Directors in different continents - Cultural awareness and international networking - A lot of different capabilities are developed - Resilience to hard lonely times in different countries

      - You can be the best one around and not find a job that you like when the program ends - Not all projects are challenging - look for them carefully

      Good work-life balance, decent PTO and benefits, friendly coworkers

      Cons

      Slow moving in central IT function, many decisions are made by committee, which slows the process way down. Compensation is below average. I have received promotions every 1-2 years for the last 5 years, but advancement in compensation has been very poor. At best it took 10 months to receive a 10% raise commensurate with my promotion. On the worse end, I received almost no salary increase despite my manager, their manager and their manager (our department head) approving the proposed raise.
