-Decent benefits: 401k Matching, Dental, Vision, BlueCross Healthcare, Fidelity and Empower Retirement Options. -Good pay for its area. -Middle management comes from the floor primarily. -Decent overtime balance for machinists.

Cons

-Lack of effective climate control. -Old, limping machinery. -Apathetic atmosphere on the floor. -Large disconnect between upper management and floor workers. -Difficulty moving up as a Machinist without a degree. -Sedgwick as a STD and LTD provider means the company will not take care of you if sick or injured.

Good work-life balance, decent PTO and benefits, friendly coworkers

Cons

Slow moving in central IT function, many decisions are made by committee, which slows the process way down. Compensation is below average. I have received promotions every 1-2 years for the last 5 years, but advancement in compensation has been very poor. At best it took 10 months to receive a 10% raise commensurate with my promotion. On the worse end, I received almost no salary increase despite my manager, their manager and their manager (our department head) approving the proposed raise.
