Pros

Recognized high-performance employees on a monthly basis.

Cons

Mid-size company operating as a small company. There are few opportunities to participate in professional development activities including trainings and attending conferences. The Atlanta Office has a high turnover with many people using the company as a stepping stone. Many people only work for Danya for a few years and then quit to work for competitors such as ICF International due to low salaries and limited opportunities to move up in the company.

Pros

The mission at heart is all well and good and it offers a chance to make a difference in education and health.

Cons

Constant lay-offs over the past few years without any real cause. Cut backs all around, including paltry paid time off that was recently reduced for all employees. New employees can expect only 12 COMBINED days off for sick, vacation and personal leave, well below industry standard. People in the office have no interest in getting to know you and management couldn't care less about anything other than the bottom dollar, not the mission. Managers will walk right past you without a care in the world and have very poor social skills. You can hear a pin drop in the office at all times. Decisions are made, then minds are changed, then made again, which provides constant frustration when no one can make a decision that sticks for more than 24 hours. Health insurance premiums have gone up with benefits going down with a switch in providers so they could save money. Be on the look out for other jobs as layoffs may come at any time.
