Pros

Good benefits package (healthcare, 401K, life insurance). Fair number of sick days, vacation days (US employees get far less than French employees) & week between Christmas & New Year off (must use personal/sick/vacation time).

Cons

Low pay, especially compared to competitors in the industry. The company does not take into consideration level of education, customer facing positions, amount of travel required or cost of living, when determining salaries. No room for growth in many departments, especially in Marketing, Specification & Design & Contracts. No required Management training, for anyone before or after they are promoted to a position where they are responsible to manage people. Any type of "management" training has to be requested by the individual themselves or is used as a tool for those who are failing in their position. All VP and above are French. No US employees are considered for those positions, regardless of experience/qualifications. US employees discriminated against & not included in most major projects (all power is now in France). All locations operate as individual companies and not as one cohesive corporation with the same policies and procedures. Too insular, need new ideas by bringing in upper-level VP from outside the Dassault inner circle. They pay very low, especially in their Teterboro location. Taking into consideration the cost of living in NJ, the salaries in that location are actually lower than the salaries in the Little Rock location. Salaries for positions that require travel & direct Customer interaction, offer low salaries and positions that require no travel and no direct Customer interaction pay more. Employees are undervalued. No job security, regardless of years of service and excellent performance evaluations. Unhealthy working environment and many people in high level positions who do not have any understanding of the job functions of the people who work under them & no desire to learn. Overall, they are very cheap. Was once a great place to work but hasn't been for over 10 years. Much of it due to the current leadership team and flows downhill to who they have appointed in positions of power since taking over.
