Pros

- Leaders continue to provide a detailed look into the company's vision and also additional insight into the product roadmap - The company is structured around speaking plainly, being kind and collaborative, and encourages a very creative problem-solving approach - Team members are relatable and personable - it makes for a psychologically safe environment where I feel I can ask questions, make mistakes, and express my opinion - The ramp period had defined goals and measurable steps to help me hit those milestones. Training is something they take very seriously, which makes you feel like you are getting the support you need to start finding your place within the team - Meetings run on-time and stick to an agenda (mostly) :) And when meetings could be replaced with emails or other communication channels, those cases are reviewed and adjusted - Providing thoughtful, concise, and honest feedback is important feature of the culture. Leadership has defined the process using the framework: what went well and what would you do differently - Overall, the team's excitement for the industry and challenges they are tackling are infectious - and their level of engagement in the conversation is refreshing

Cons

- Given how much the privacy environment is currently changing, there is a lot of re-education and new content to stay ahead of

Pros

Product org is full of strong leaders and PMs. Solid product and brand. Hire smart people - have cycled through hiring waves from great companies like Drift, ZoomInfo, MongoDB, HubSpot. Similarly, those departures have gone on to work for impressive brands (Anthropic, Intuit, Vanta, Decagon, Ashby, OpenAI, Kickstarter, etc.).

Cons

Thrash, whiplash, pivot, repeat. GTM side of the business is at the mercy of mercurial executive decision-making. Constantly setting unrealistic goals and making big swing experiments to try and hit them. Hired and laid off 2 or 3 entire BDR programs. CEO is high energy, personable, likeable, and hard worker. But unfortunately thinks of himself as smarter and a better seller than any other representative of company (bc it's his baby). Dismissive of any challenge to his big idea/conviction of the week. There were 3 layoffs of 10+ and several random individual layoffs in my ~1.5 yr there. CEO would casually say things like "well he won't be here next month, lets be honest" or "as soon as we find a replacement she'll be gone".
