Pros
The product is good. The people are smart. Work is engaging.
Cons
The leadership at every single level is apalling, and the higher you get, the more toxic it becomes. They make it clear that you are only as good as your results. When you are doing well, you get no recognition, and when you are not up to standard (meaning you are not working day and night), they will let you know. Zero empathy. Zero dignity. I should have known not to go there the moment I talked to the recruiter, who raised a plethora of red flags. People are expected to literally work all waking hours. Most do, routinely staying in the office well after 7 pm. Their reward? 1/3rd of them get axed with zero warning- and I mean zero, as in minutes notice- the "CEO" sent an email out the same morning of the day the layoffs happened. The level of hypocrisy is shocking. One week the "CEO" is saying that they care about people's health and they are dedicating resources to combat CVID-19, and literally the next week he decides to revoke health insurance to 100s of people with absolutely no warning. These are real human beings that did not have a chance to plan ahead in the middle of modern history's biggest pandemic. These talented people and their families were sucker punched in the face. By far the worst company I've ever worked for. Investors ought to take their money to a more ethical company, and talent should steer clear- fight the good fight. There are enough bad guys out there.
