Cons
Working here is like watching a cheesy horror movie. You keep yelling at the main character about the danger around them in exasperation, and the character does exactly what they shouldn't do. People at the company have been talking about the mistakes that leadership have been making, up until the point that leadership announces the issues with profitability and has to do layoffs. If the leadership team is not replaced, I have a strong feeling that the company will go bankrupt. There are also no performance reviews, so I have no clue how talks about compensation and promotions are supposed to happen. Almost no communication happens between certain departments (departments that rely on each other), which makes working at DataRobot feel arduous at times. There is practically no growth opportunities within my department, and there isn't an established process for employees to join other departments. Benefits are weak, as there isn't even a 401k match. Compensation isn't terrible, but I haven't seen a single dollar added to my pay since I joined two years ago. The new leadership team that started last year have stripped the company of any semblance of its culture so they can run and do shady things. I'd say this is not the time to join this company. This is the time for current employees to start looking elsewhere and get ready to leave.
