Pros
Databricks has amazing leadership where I feel the CEO tells us how it is. No sugarcoating. We are positioned wonderfully in the market so the fear recruiters generally feel when reading about lay-offs elsewhere is not necessary. I am very happy about my base pay, I'm not micromanaged, and everyone we work with is super intelligent. I am really happy to work here!
Cons
Databricks is established but young - they seem to be open to making changes re: parental leave and other benefits BUT there is work to be done with hiring. Once brought up to leadership though, things tend to change which is great.
