Pros

Low-stress environment, R&D focused, respectful employees

Cons

Lousy remote work policy, policies are created and not rationalized by management. Perpetual lack of resources causes a poor customer experience. Poor software design decisions by management. No clear path to advancing in your career. No plans for when and how promotions or raises happen. Raises (if they happen) are across the board and are not based on merit.

Pros

Excellent R&D department with innovative products and solutions. Technology copied by competitors with larger marketing budget. Customer first culture!

Cons

Lack of Marketing budget and tools. Because the products are so good the expectation is that they will "Sell themselves". The reality is human behavior does not always follows the best technology, but the most "shiny one" even if it is subpar.
