Pros

The recruiting team is very good, as the domain expert cohort is full of highly qualified people. The misleading statements given during the hiring process as to the scope of the job may be a factor. I also appreciated the unlimited sick leave.

Cons

I cannot speak for other parts of the company, but the domain expert team is a soul-sucking place to land. This is an okay first job if you are in journalism, I suppose, as the pay is better than at a media outlet. If you can, stick it out for a year at most, take your shares, and leave. Turnover is high due to a combination of an inflexible schedule, physically and mentally fatiguing job rhythm, and lack of empowerment from upper management. This failure to keep quality people is blamed on "personal problems " or lack of dedication to mission, as it's "not that bad a place" to work. If you have an analytical bent, you will quickly grow bored and frustrated. Any good ideas you may come up in attempt to enrich your work life will be stolen and repackaged by upper management. Rest assured that most of your coworkers will be actively job-hunting. Perhaps the engineering or sales teams are better, but if you are being recruited for domain expert, seek another option.

Pros

* Differentiated technology platform with real-time intelligence capabilities, particularly in the physical security and threat detection space

Cons

* Frequent leadership changes have made it difficult to maintain consistent strategic direction * Company initiatives often reset before prior efforts fully mature, creating execution gaps * Senior leadership structure can feel top-heavy, which at times slows decision-making and accountability * Market positioning in cybersecurity may not be as strong or clearly differentiated as competitors * Organizational changes have led to disruption and uncertainty for employees during transition periods * In some cases, expectations during the hiring process did not fully align with the day-to-day reality of the role * Strategic messaging is strong, but execution and follow-through can lag behind stated priorities
