Pros

Great company culture. Everyone I've met has been friendly, welcoming and generous with their time to help me onboard quickly. The benefits are incredible and the company keeps thinking of additional ways to support us. I have been amazed by how much the company genuinely cares about their employees. Dataminr has a world class solution that is defining the industry. I'm very proud to work here and take great pleasure in watching customers eyes light up when they see what our platform could do for their businesses.

Cons

Working remotely has made it more challenging to onboard than I'm typically used to but the team is consistently taking feedback and looking for ways to improve.

Pros

* Differentiated technology platform with real-time intelligence capabilities, particularly in the physical security and threat detection space

Cons

* Frequent leadership changes have made it difficult to maintain consistent strategic direction * Company initiatives often reset before prior efforts fully mature, creating execution gaps * Senior leadership structure can feel top-heavy, which at times slows decision-making and accountability * Market positioning in cybersecurity may not be as strong or clearly differentiated as competitors * Organizational changes have led to disruption and uncertainty for employees during transition periods * In some cases, expectations during the hiring process did not fully align with the day-to-day reality of the role * Strategic messaging is strong, but execution and follow-through can lag behind stated priorities
