Pros

Multiple clients to possibly work for and /or verticals.

They pay below industry standards ; they micro manage your work and now they want to have people be vaccinated who work remotely ; a person private life and health should be private

Thank you for your input. Respectfully, I disagree with your perspective on the vaccines mandate. As a federal contractor, we are subject to the vaccines mandate set in place by the US government, which applies to remote employees as well as those at a facility. Safety is one of our company’s core values, and for many months, we have continued to encourage all employees to get vaccinated in the interest of ensuring everyone’s safety. It’s important to note that if someone chooses not to get vaccinated, they are potentially risking their own personal health as well as jeopardizing the health of those around them--it is not a choice that only affects the individual. In addition, I want to remind you that as a talent sourcer, your role is to help us attract talent to the organization. Your inaccurate review completely contradicts what we’d expect of anyone in your role. Regarding your other stated concerns, as you are no doubt aware by now, we regularly benchmark our salaries against the market place, to ensure competitiveness. There are many opportunities for development, both formal and informal, for you to take advantage of. I recommend you discuss any career concerns you may have with your manager, and if you have not yet done so, create an Individual Development Plan to map out the development needs you’d like to focus on, as well as your specific career goals. Our intranet pages contain many Talent development resources that you can utilize, and I hope you’ll take advantage of them.

Pros

Day & Zimmermann is a company where people can build long-term, meaningful careers. As a family owned business with more than a century of history, there is a level of stability, purpose, and long-term thinking that is not easy to find in today’s job market. What stands out most to me is the company’s investment in its people. Day & Zimmermann has one of the strongest organizational training and development programs I have seen. The in house Learning & Development team is outstanding, and the company continues to invest in resources that help employees grow, lead, and succeed. There is also a real sense of pride in the work. Across the organization, employees support critical industries, customers, and missions, and that creates a strong connection to purpose. The people here care about doing good work, supporting one another, and representing the company well. For those considering Day & Zimmermann, I would say this is a place where you can find stability, opportunity, development, and a company that genuinely cares about its employees. If you are looking for an organization where you can contribute, grow, and be part of something with a strong foundation, Day & Zimmermann is worth serious consideration.

Cons

Like many established companies, there are areas where processes, systems, and tools can continue to evolve. The company is complex, and experiences can vary by business unit, location, and team but I really don't have a bunch of cons to list, I love it here.
