Pros
I have worked at DaySmart for 10+ years and I have no regrets. I started in Customer Support and after graduating with an degree in engineering I moved into software development. In my tenure with DaySmart I have had the pleasure of working with a wide breadth of technologies and have never stopped learning or being challenged. The management team tends not to micro manage projects which is a great benefit. Small teams are given assignments/projects and expected to execute. The company runs like a well oiled machine. Employees tend to stay with the company for a very long time which speaks volumes for the culture and proves that DaySmart is indeed a great place to work. I can't say enough great things about my co-workers!! They are some of the smartest and hard working individuals I have ever met. This is true across all departments. The company was bought by an investment group in late 2016 and since then the pace and growth of the organization has skyrocketed! The new management group is effective and very approachable. With the new executive team in place we are going to dominate the salon and pet grooming industry. It's an exciting ride!!
Cons
I don't really have much negative to say about the company. Some employees feel that the communication from upper management hasn't been stellar but it seems they're getting better at keeping everybody in the loop.
