Pros

Summary: - Very Professional and Understanding Managers - Caring about Their Employees - Transparency - Feeling Respected and Important as an Employee - Great Work Life Balance - Working with Smart People - Great Team Work I have been working as a software developer at this company for 7 months now, and this has been the most enjoyable job experience that I ever had. Employees always come first here. I have a very understanding manager, and that makes me try to contribute as much as I can to this company and to my team. I could easily compare my manager with previous managers I had at the first moment, but that gets more obvious when I got into a special situation and I could totally feel how the great support from my manager can make my days at work happier and my work place a comfortable space to do my duties. The team work is great, when I need help, it doesn't matter what is the title of the person I need help from and how busy they are. I do pair programming with my technical lead, even though he is busy, because sometimes he is the one with the best knowledge in a specific task. There have never been a time that anyone refer me to someone else for being busy, all the team members are there for you. There were times that my manager would join us and offer his technical help with tasks. (In my case my manager has development knowledge). I am working with smart people and am learning a lot compare to my prev work place, and I think that's one of the effects of begin able to do pair programming and engage in team work with much more experienced people. I found out that I love my job, something that I really doubted in my previous work place, and it turned out a good work environment has a huge effect in what you think you are passionate about.

Cons

In the past 7 months I haven't had even one day that I could say I feel down at work. Actually there were many days that I felt down and when I got to work my mood just switched to a good mood. I cannot come up with even one point that could bother me here.

Pros

Dayforce has a lot of great perks. They are a cutting-edge HCM company and are always innovating. They are 100% remote and are great with work-life balance. Pay and benefits are good, and I would put them slightly above average in both.

Cons

Work can be too siloed at times, and top-down plans are not always communicated as efficiently as they could be.

Pros

I was able to retire. After Dayforce, I was DONE.

Cons

I wouldn't be so quick to leave Paylocity, one disaster, for Dayforce. IF you have been there for 5+ years, you have a good territory. If you're new to the organization, expect uneven playing field and a "junior" quota. I was in HR sales for 30+ years, most of them in true Enterprise when I was hired as a mid-market rep with an unreasonably small patch. They won't tell you this in an interview so ask and then make the hiring manager provide documentation in the form of a territory listing as sadly, they're not honest and you're going to have to verify EVERYTHING you are told. Oh, and the new VP of sales is liked about as much as the last one, which is to say, not loved at all. B
