After 10 plus years I have to finally admit I cannot see the end of the tunnel this time. A slow dying monster....weep. - Senior Management - SaaS Dayforce Employee Review

Pros

A lot of loyal employees who really care

Cons

Sigh...want to love the company and stay forever and make them successful...but; Management Team in place unfocused on anything but their own survival right now, Too many senior C-level and VP positions with 'intermediate' individuals in place due to qualified prospects turning down key positions due to market positioning, Too many incompetent middle managers from AVP to DVP levels with questionable ethics and values, Employee engagement at lowest point ever due to lack of focus and destination for financially drowning company, Sales totals running at under 30% of plan for 2 years running and shrinking still on reduced quotas in US and Canada, Existing customer base shrinking at 22% per year, Too many managers that cared and brought personal and team success either managed out of 'boys club' or left out of frustration, Debt to revenue ratios now over 5 to 1, New product 'savior' delayed due to funding and accounting irregularities for another 18-24 months, And on and on. Used to be such a fine place to work. A lot of training and opportunity for personal growth and success. Allowed the ability to contribute to their success for people who cared and wanted to achieve career progression. Now, a big multilayered debt machine that cannot feed itself anymore. Investment partners at wits end wondering how to recoup investment and not lose millions upon millions. More cutbacks on people, locations, and product development today after the purge of the past 3 years occurring again, with more to come at end of Q2....

Pros

Dayforce has a lot of great perks. They are a cutting-edge HCM company and are always innovating. They are 100% remote and are great with work-life balance. Pay and benefits are good, and I would put them slightly above average in both.

Cons

Work can be too siloed at times, and top-down plans are not always communicated as efficiently as they could be.

Pros

I was able to retire. After Dayforce, I was DONE.

Cons

I wouldn't be so quick to leave Paylocity, one disaster, for Dayforce. IF you have been there for 5+ years, you have a good territory. If you're new to the organization, expect uneven playing field and a "junior" quota. I was in HR sales for 30+ years, most of them in true Enterprise when I was hired as a mid-market rep with an unreasonably small patch. They won't tell you this in an interview so ask and then make the hiring manager provide documentation in the form of a territory listing as sadly, they're not honest and you're going to have to verify EVERYTHING you are told. Oh, and the new VP of sales is liked about as much as the last one, which is to say, not loved at all. B
