Pros
• Work life balance • virtual nature • decent benefits • provided with basic tools to do the job • large territory • nice offices
Cons
• Regional meetings take 3 days to do what could be presented in 1 day. The manager will say something like;, “… this will be the 3 days that create the vision moving forward. “ Then the actual content is a rah rah session with intiatives that never get fully implemented. (see flavor of the month) • Management is always changing. 10 managers in less than 4 years! District VP is no more than a sales manager is with little ability to make real change. • Flavor of the month is always different. Do it this way ...no that way ...no this other way • A lot of turnover • Little support from managers that are too focused on preparing for internal meetings that do not involve direct selling • Little communication after a new corporate focus is instituted • All managers were from outside of Ceridian. I never saw a manager advance from within the company • paperwork, paperwork, paperwork • implementation is a nightmare and there is always a fear that the PM will reject a project
