Pros

- People are friendly, approachable, and helpful. It's not uncommon to see employees socialize together outside of the office. - Monthly lunches - Flexible benefits - Powerful workstations and dual monitors - Can connect to workstation remotely - Subsidized sports teams and fitness subsidy - You get to work on interesting problems and as a result the work week goes by quickly. - Senior and lead developers are very competent. It means that the software developers are able to learn good development practises.

Cons

- Although there is good harmony within teams, there isn't a lot of harmony between teams. Support with support, development with development, sales with sales, etc. - The job requirements for senior developers are very demanding. While this ensures that competent people are leading the development teams, it means that there is a large gap between software developer and senior software developer. I haven't seen many promotions from software developer to senior software developer.

Pros

Dayforce has a lot of great perks. They are a cutting-edge HCM company and are always innovating. They are 100% remote and are great with work-life balance. Pay and benefits are good, and I would put them slightly above average in both.

Cons

Work can be too siloed at times, and top-down plans are not always communicated as efficiently as they could be.

Pros

I was able to retire. After Dayforce, I was DONE.

Cons

I wouldn't be so quick to leave Paylocity, one disaster, for Dayforce. IF you have been there for 5+ years, you have a good territory. If you're new to the organization, expect uneven playing field and a "junior" quota. I was in HR sales for 30+ years, most of them in true Enterprise when I was hired as a mid-market rep with an unreasonably small patch. They won't tell you this in an interview so ask and then make the hiring manager provide documentation in the form of a territory listing as sadly, they're not honest and you're going to have to verify EVERYTHING you are told. Oh, and the new VP of sales is liked about as much as the last one, which is to say, not loved at all. B
