Pros

There were 2 reasons why I stayed employed with Devry: 1. A few co-workers were a pleasure to work with. They taught me a lot about the DeVry culture. 2. I needed income

Cons

The culture at DeVry is not education-minded, it is money-minded. This leads to a lot of deception and back-stabbing.

Pros

The ALP program was a valuable leadership and professional development experience. I enjoyed connecting with colleagues across the organization, learning from different perspectives, and gaining practical takeaways I could apply in my role. The coaching sessions were especially helpful for reflecting on the content and discussing how to put the learning into practice.

Cons

The six-month program does require a meaningful time commitment, with three-hour content sessions followed by one-hour coaching sessions. At times, balancing the sessions with day-to-day responsibilities can be challenging, so having a dedicated time to fully engage in the program is important.
