Pros

Benefits are strong and you have a flexible leave policy which is very attractive. Salary is maybe a little above average, although the other reviewer was right that they try to low ball you. Also, most of the people who work here are great personalities, hard working and dedicated.

Cons

This company has lost so many good employees over the last 6 months and it is very telling of the direction of the company overall. We lost one of our strong managers who was really the face of the leadership team to the employees -- many of us interviewed with him. He became dissatisfied and left out of the blue. No one trusts the people that replaced him and they really haven't been able to gain respect. Other employees have been leaving at a regular clip and management doesn't seem concerned. I hear of people having been lowballed on their salary and I agree with the other reviewer that the company is dumping money into IP unnecessarily and doing it at the expense of their current companies. Several of us are looking for new jobs since we know we can do better elsewhere. The owners make lots of promises, but deliver only a fraction of that and tend to pay lip service to their employee's concerns. I wish it was different here, we've got a lot of good employees still who really are great people, it's unfortunate the leadership team isn't engaged..

Pros

• Gained hands-on experience with Cerner EHR • Opportunity to work on projects at Walter Reed • Valuable exposure to healthcare IT and government contracting environments

Cons

• Poor leadership and lack of structured training; had to figure out most tasks independently • I don’t think leadership has any idea what’s going on and little accountability for underperforming team members as in many never showed up for work for months at a time and nothing happened and leadership does not seem to notice or care. • Low collaboration across teams, minimal direction from leadership • Layoffs and contract changes communicated poorly, with little transparency around performance or job security
