Pros

-16" MBP - phone and internet stiped - decent PTO - holiday meal expense - HR is responsive - Co-workers communicate well being a completely remote company.

Cons

- You get siloed with whatever team (squad) you get hired in with. There is little to no growth opportunities. - Internal promotions have come to a screeching halt, while external hires have increased tenfold. - You have to have the exact experience as the job you get hired for. Most new hires were laid off from previous jobs and made lateral moves. - Analyst 1 through 3 do the same thing. The title is a pay scale based on years of experience. - You mostly monitor downed host for ingestion, not security-related. - 1 analyst is assigned a dozen or more customers. You average about 3 to 5 minutes dedicated to each customer each hour. - You only work SIEM logs. You'll never use any fancy software or tools. You work out of a single web browser and will lose a lot of real-world cyber skills.

Pros

Working hard to turn around the culture. They are very transparent about past RIFs and future business outlook. Compensation and benefits are great!

Cons

No true onboarding or 30/60/90 day plan. This gives people autonomy to make the role their own, but can be scary since there’s been so many layoffs and not much seems to be documented when you’re a new hire.

Pros

The people here are amazing! I'm surrounded by brilliant team members who lift each other up and help everyone learn. There's also great cross team collaboration. Leadership is communicates openly and honestly and genuinely values employees. There are also ample opportunities to grow your career here. So far, it's been a very refreshing place to work.

Cons

There's no 401k match right now, but leadership seems to recognize the importance of bringing it back and is working to make it happen. Comp is slightly lower than industry peers, but the ability to make a difference in your daily work is valuable.
