Cons
Too many to count at this point, multiple RIFs to reduce headcount and help the company become profitable alongside several other firings of well respected individuals out of nowhere have soured the good will the company previously had. In addition employee incentives were cut in 1/2 and the aggressive shift from remote first to the push for physical SOCs in high cost of living areas just to have butts in seats to put on a show for visiting customers. In addition all new positions were also tied to those specific geolocations forcing current employees and high performers to either leave for a better opportunity or be stuck where they are if they're unable (which most people aren't) to pick up & move states away. Lack of support and tooling forces analyst to send up subpar & downright embarrassing escalations to customers with no signs of providing analysts with any support that isn't some form of "AI". TLDR: It doesn't feel like one of the hearts of your service is valued anymore. The quality of work as severely dropped, analyst's & your customers deserve better.
