Pros
The mission serving the troops is the best. There are some highly dedicated retired and active duty military members working here.
Cons
Current management hasn't a clue as to what their doing nor how to motivate and lead people. I see senior manager after senior manager come into and leave DMA as fast as they can. The turnover rate is a problem. The new management doesn't know, nor cares to know, the business and the business processes. Management are stuffed shirts unable to speak the language of the business which keeps them from hearing the right voices to get the right vision. Instead they pursue hopes and waste money on their dreams which rarely produce results. Climate survey after climate survey are taken and the command ranks as one of the lowest in the hundreds of DoD commands and agencies. The results of those surveys are never acted upon. The director is out-of-touch with the customer, and rarely, if ever, speaks to the troops.
