Pros
-There are some first class people who work here, who have your back day in and day out... -Plentiful OT, if that's your thing (I personally have gotten to the point where I can't stand being there for 8 hours, much less 16). -Decent health benefits
Cons
-There are also people who run away with their tail between their legs when the going gets rough. -Upper ranks antagonize and hold the good Officers to ridiculous standards while they give a pass to the terrible Officers that should have been fired years ago. -Long hours -Mandatory OT -Lousy/nonexistent incentives -The only way to make a decent retirement/pension is to work as much OT as humanly possible -Inmates are treated better than staff -People in higher ranks that shouldn't even have a job, much less a supervisory role -Massive exodus coming in 2017
