Managment was extended and stretched within the the company for this department. Housekeeping and linen house persons were elected to be separate types of department though they were both housekeeping. The ability to provide proper working material needed was also very stretched. Finding a position to assist or move forward in ideals of promotion were in personal experience dangled as carrots for more work and more responsibilities but not given as level title or pay increase.
