Pros
It is nice to have paid vacation days like Christmas and thanksgiving. I personally enjoy working 3 or 4 12 hour shifts then being able to have 3 or 4 days off.
Cons
The company doesn't care about the employee, they just want the job done. The wages are too low for the amount of work and responsibility the employee has. The plants are understaffed working with basically a skeleton crew. The past year the company has done away with production bonuses and froze raises company wide. There just doesn't seem to be a good, productive business plan in place. Benefits are offered, however, if you only bring home $1600/month and your insurance is over $600/month is it really a benefit? It's a resource. I've been here 3 years and have finally had my fill, I have started seeking other employment.
