Pros

The company operates in an important space within cybersecurity and privileged access management. The product has strong potential in the market.

Cons

My experience as an Account Executive was difficult due to a lack of clear expectations and transparency around the role. Territories and account assignments were not communicated clearly and changed in ways that made it challenging to build consistent pipeline. There were also instances where the realities of the role did not match what was communicated during the hiring process. Support for sales reps varied significantly, and the environment often felt unsupportive rather than collaborative. High-performing reps were not always recognized or treated in a way that encouraged long-term retention. There was unfortunate, favoritism among reps and isolation in this role.

Pros

I worked with many talented, supportive individual contributors during my more than four years at the company. There was strong camaraderie among colleagues, and I had opportunities to grow, take on meaningful work, and earn a promotion.

Cons

My confidence in senior leadership deteriorated substantially near the end of my tenure. After I submitted my resignation, a vice president in my reporting chain told me that if I did not respond within one hour, she would fire me. Because I had already resigned voluntarily after more than four years with the company, I found the threat unnecessary, intimidating, and deeply unprofessional. At a company event, I also personally heard another senior leader make derogatory remarks about an entire racial or ethnic group in front of multiple colleagues. Conduct like this is especially concerning when it comes from people in senior positions. More broadly, I experienced and witnessed bullying and intimidating management behavior, frequently shifting priorities, unclear ownership, and leadership decisions that made effective collaboration more difficult. The individual contributors were often excellent; the primary problems were leadership conduct, accountability, and direction.
