      Pros

      Teaching Hospital that has a family atmosphere. It's an older hospital but it's in the process of being remodeled. I'm very happy here!

      Cons

      Smaller hospital. Lots of remodeling underway. The average age of patient here are about 82 years old. Older equipment on the units.

      Pros

      You learn a lot working here. It is a very busy ER with a high acuity patient population, so there are always opportunities to gain experience and build your skills. The night shift staff is amazing. The benefits were great when I worked full time.

      Cons

      The ER is constantly short staffed, which makes it a stressful and unsafe place to work. Management is disorganized and communication is poor. The department is often dirty because there are not enough staff members to keep up with the workload.
