      Pros

      Always understaff every single day. No CNA to help. You have to to your RN job and the CNA job. You get 1-2 admission at the end of shift almost everyday. NO SUPPLIES! The computers doesn’t work. Some days I have to go through 3 different wow. Forget about the vital signs machine they are scarce and old and they are faulty. Did I say no supplies!? We have to go to other units to get flushes! Flushes and everything else. Patient ratio is unbelievable.

      Pros

      You learn a lot working here. It is a very busy ER with a high acuity patient population, so there are always opportunities to gain experience and build your skills. The night shift staff is amazing. The benefits were great when I worked full time.

      Cons

      The ER is constantly short staffed, which makes it a stressful and unsafe place to work. Management is disorganized and communication is poor. The department is often dirty because there are not enough staff members to keep up with the workload.
